Post 43 – Trial – Phyllis Haas
Attorney General, Corruption, D&W Development, Dawn Sanderson, Foreclosure, Kristie Koester, Perrysburg, Phyllis Haas, Prosecutor’s Office, Real Estate, Sheriff’s Sale, Walter Celley, Wood CountyHaas “No. This one was an actual foreclosure. It looks like D&W Development.” The same D&W development that township administrator Walter Celley owns. Also, we are sure, coincidentally, Walter Celley and his partner Dawn Sanderson filed this foreclosure right before the AG’s office went to the prosecutors. The timing seems suspicious. Would Celley know that these properties would be taken if Jason was found guilty? At Walt’s insistence to the AG? Continue reading…
Post 42 – Trial – Dr. Richard Paat
$34k, Board, Dr. Paat, Jason, Medical Account, Medical Clinic, Meeting Minutes, PHCA, Prosecutor, Toledo Community Foundation, TreasurerSmith “Your time on the board, would Jason give financial updates to the board?” Dr. Paat “Yes, that was his job as treasurer.” Smith “Do you remember him physically giving those updates?” Dr. Paat “I believe that we probably did receive minutes, yes.” The most honest man at this trial just impeached the lies told by the Serda family and pushed by prosecutors. It was a short testimony, but it provides so much as to the real goal of the State. Continue reading…
Post 41 – Trial – Kristie Koester (part 8)
Smith “Let’s try to make something very, very clear. At one point Jason was purchasing pennies, sorting them, and reselling them as a way to make money for your family, correct?” Koester “Yes.” Smith “And then at one point transitioned it to a fundraiser for the center?” Koester “Yes.” Smith “Okay, two very distinct entities?” Koester “Yes.” Smith “Okay. So to characterize it as a fundraiser would not be correct?” Koester “Correct.” Smith “Okay. So the same thing with Visalus?” Koester “Yes.” Smith “All right. At one point you guys are doing Visalus as a personal income generator for your… Continue reading…
Post 40 – Trial – Kristie Koester (part 7)
Anderson “Well, then why were Visalus commission checks being put in your account in 2013?” Koester “Because that’s how more product had to be purchased.” Anderson “You weren’t purchasing product. Do you have proof you purchased product out of your account?” Koester “I’m sure the Visalus records were brought up.” This is when no actual records were had, but we have them now. Continue reading…

$10,000 would come out of Kristie’s accounts and $13,000 would go back in. Crazy yes, but it was Jason’s life. Continue reading…

Post 36 – Trial – Kristie Koester (part 3)
Commision Checks, Commissions, Jason, Judge Reger, Kristie Koester, Post-Conviction, Transactions, VisalusKoester “Well, I mean, I sold it before we — I sold it before it was an actual fundraiser for the community center. And then after it went to that we were strictly doing it online for the community center.” Continue reading…
Post 35 – Trial – Kristie Koester (part 2)
Attorney General, Cashier’s Check, Checks, Jason, KeyBank, Kristie Koester, PHCA, Real Estate, Rentals, VisalusWhen Jason would withdraw cash from the PHCA, he had it put into cashier’s checks so he had a record of the cash for purchases. This happened for Visalus, purchases of lawn equipment, and the real estate investment. Why? Well during the high sales of Visalus, it was important for the funds to be available in the accounts to purchase more. So, as most everyone knows, cashier’s checks would be made available upon the deposit of them. Why were the cashier’s checks in Jason’s personal name? Policy for KeyBank, we assume. PHCA was not a person. When Jason would withdraw… Continue reading…
