Remember, it was 2014 that Jason contacted the Perrysburg Township trustees and angered Walt Celley. This is what it was always about; protecting their own egos. Bob Mack and Craig LaHote seemed to be reasonable thinkers, but the others (a trustee and Walt Celley) did not appreciate reality.
Judge “Next question. Do you know who opened the medical clinic account?” Kinder “Yes, I do. It was Harold Jason Craig. And the other signer on that was Stephanie Serda.” Final Q&A with Kinder. Pg. 804 Smith “Did you find any attempt to physically conceal those transactions if you looked at the checkbook?” Kinder “I think I would define how I want to use the term conceal. Because when you look at the PHCA account through KeyBank for the medical account ending in 2266, in my review and from my interviews that I did I could not find a justification for even having that account. So then I’ve got to question the method and methodology of why are you going to open that account, why name it that? Then what are those monies going in for? Then, if we recall, a lot of the money out of the medical account went into C-Dudes account. Well, in my experience and training if its coming from an account that no one knows exists and its going into another then why would you need to try to hide it?” Smith “To say no one knew it existed is not accurate because any board member could review member records.” Kinder “Not if they don’t know there is a medical account. How would they know to ask for it?” Smith “Well, there’s more than one signatory.” Kinder “You are right sir. But how would they know because it is not even being discussed in the minutes.” Smith “Wasn’t that the account that was used to buy the mower?” Kinder “Yes, but that doesn’t mean –“ Smith “Was that account used to purchase the mower?” Kinder “Yes.” Smith “Is there certainly a chance that this medical account that we keep saying medical over and over about is just poorly named?” Kinder “Well it was poorly named by the defendant.” Smith “Is there a chance it was poorly named?” Kinder “Okay.”
Here are our thoughts. The prosecutors had Anita, Stephanie, and Kinder testify ad nauseam to there not being treasurer reports. We of course know they are not telling the truth. How is it, with a straight face does Kinder then testify that this was not part of the minutes? Without the treasurer reports, they did not see any of the other four accounts. We have also already shown you the portion of the minutes where donations to the community center were to be divided as a percentage between these accounts with one being the medical account directly contradicting Kinder’s testimony. Kinder just plain lies.
Also, for the record, upon the PHCA accounts being switched from KeyBank to PNC in December 2012, the medical clinic account was renamed the investment account.
