Did you live in Illinois?” Koester “Yes.” Smith “Did he own any business while he was there?” Koester “Yes.” Smith “What was the nature of the business?” Koester “It was a sports card shop.” Smith “Do you know how he secured the funding to purchase that?” Koester “It was a lotto ticket that was a winning lotto ticket that I scratched and won.” Smith “So at some point the State of Illinois gave you or him money as a result of this lotto ticket?” Koester “Correct.”
